Is it true that women are more likely to have one night stands or hookup type relations with a very ripped, muscular and masculine man, but less likely to have long standing relations? Basically do women care less about personality and lifestyle compadability and more about appearance and physical qualities for one night stands and hookups?

I've never really been the 1 night stand type, but I would assume that looks would pretty important, although for women there's lots of other things that can make men really sexy in the immediate sense that have nothing to do with looks.
Also, not all women are into master shredded types...I don't really dig that myself.

Well thats good to know for me because I'm into bodybuiling bit. I am 6'4", quite lean and would be hella submissive if there was some kinky shit going on. I'm not to picky on what that kinky shit is though. You into any of that stuff? I'm just curious.

Well, it has to do something mentally, because that's how we humans are made. Men are attracted to women with huge boobs and ass while women are attracted to muscular and ripped men. Moreover, muscular men are perceived as strong and brave even if they're not. Women feel a sense of security around them and they enjoy a heightened pleasure being with a tall, handsom and muscular men. But remember, not everyone is the same. Eventhough women are into ripped men, what matters finally is the personality when it comes to a relationship.

Women care less about your personality, and as a result more about physical attractiveness, in one night stand situations and hookups than in more longer term 'relationships' Did you even read the post mate???
Yes, I did. What I'm trying to say is women get attracted to ripped men which can be potentially a factor for getting in to relationships. But once into relationships, nobody would stay with you if you're a jerk or an asshole even if you are ripped.
I thought it was common knowledge that women did this? Trying to get a stud into a commited relationship is a herculeanian task but getting him into bed for one night is a different story.
Yes I though this was somewhat well established also, but it has caused more contravesry than I expected. And right now about a third of voters don't even think it's a thing based on my poll. I suspect it may be some women not really admitting to it tho....
I think the reason it doesn't seem to be a thing is because not everyone is into more ripped muscular guys. I think Chris Hemsworth is exquisite, but I find an Arnold Schwarzenegger type to be repugnant.

Girls that have one night stands probably want a physically attractive man more than a good personality. For a relationship thats may not be as important. Thats just me making an assumption i have no idea really
I would agree with you mister weird guy from the south. I also wonder if may be it's a correlation thing. Like that the certain type of women that like one night stands also are more attracted by physical things just overall. Where as more emotional and personal women are more enticed by getting to know and feel for someone, which takes longer to develop in a relationship. Still merely speculation though, which is why I made this post.
For me a man's most important feature is a handsome face. I'm much more into a handsome face than big brawny muscles.
Personally I tend to be more attracted to the one night stand girls. Its a conflict of interest but they seem more fun to me.

If there's an attractive guy then the woman is going to want to have the one night stand with that guy. Initially.
If there's a guy less attractive than the first but he's engaging enough that they spend most of the night out interacting with eachother then most likely she'd go with that guy, I assume.
If there's two guys and both are as interesting as one another but one is more physically attractive then she's going to go for the physically attractive one.
If it's just for a one night stand, pointless sex with no intention to keeping in contact then I'd say the attractive guy is the one she's going to want to bed.

I would say so, yes. It overall depends on the status. Obviously an attractive man is going to have an edge when it comes to the status of being someone to bed but if there's some dude who's not as physically attractive yet has more status in other categories then my bet would be on them getting laid.
However, usually the folk with the higher "status" in social areas where a one night stand leads from are folks that are physically attractive.
Basically, if there's a really attractive man and also some sports star that isn't as attractive then I would say she'd go for the sports star if she got to decide but those are very rare instances where such a choice is available.
How shallow lol. I know someone who's like this, but only one chick and she has ridiculously high standards. But I'm not like this,personally I prefer men who are husky, not muscular but with some weight to them.

I wasn't thinking you thought I was shallow, that's fine though. Yes the type of women I am referring to are considered shallow, and I know what you mean by that. You being up a good point mate, and it seems you agree with the post. Whether or not being shallow when it comes to sex is bad or not, is another topic for another day though.
That seems quite possible although I'm not sure many girls would admit to it. I think I've read that somewhere come to think of it.
