Is it the truth for he doesn't want to come

Hie everybody i have a little problem with one of my friend david.
I wanted to invite him to come at my home to have good time (not sex just talking etc) with or without his girlfriend ( he praticly never speaks about her) but just one week before he told me that he doesn't want to come because it's to far from his house then i have some doubt to know if it's the trugh or not.
So what do you think about this ?
If you have some idea about the reason he doesn't want to come tell me

    How could I have any idea why David doesn't want to come to your house. What do I have to base an opinion on?

    The truth is...David is an agent for the secret society of galaxy society. He can't make it to your house because he is being sent off on a top secret mission to assassinate the king of planet blehblehbleh. Give him some space, he has a lot of responsibilities.

    Well jacobasse to answer you we started to think about this with david two month ago and when i asked him about this he just told me i will see or why not nothing more

    Well i habe some doubt because when i try to have a phone conversation with him he doesn't answer the phone he just speaks with me on a facebook chat

    What are you basing this on? Do you have any evidence to support your claim? If not then it's not true until you find some. We live in a modern world with this thing called "the scientific method" which means to say something is true you have to have evidence. You have no evidence so even though it could possibly be true you shouldn't act that way. You should act as if it isn't true because you don't know. Is he honest? If so then why doubt him? Is he dishonest? Well if he's dishonest then who cares?
