My boyfriend only live 30min away from me. I left on a trip out of the country for 2 weeks. I was anxious to come back to see him. When I came back he said that he was having some trouble with his mom so we couldn't see each other. Something about her finding out some secrets. I ask him when , and he replies with "ASAP" or "very soon". He still sends me the sweetest texts! I'm just not sure what this means ? Any suggestions ?

    I think it means he wants to break up with you. No-one has mom problems so severe that they can't leave the house for two weeks. I'd predict his texts getting more and more sporadic, then trailing off altogether.

      I confronted him with that. I tolled him that if he wanted space or wanted a break . He replied with complementing our relationship. And how it will soon be over . ( and I thought girls were complicated )

      I've actually never met his family . Our relationship is new . Only dated for 2 months. He just tells me to be patient and it will be worth it.

        Go over there and see for yourself. If he really means this you will be welcomed. Demand a specific explanation. Any non-specific or evasive reply will be hiding something. If he's hiding something, then leave.

          Thank you for that! I did as you said and i found answers .
          It was a religion issue. His mom actually didn't even know about me. He was/is in a re arranged marriage. He just needs to man up to his mom .
