Is it racist to judge modern germans on the nazis?

My housemate hates Germans. I encounter people like this often, based on the Nazi Germany of 70+ years ago coupled with their rather coarse accent.
I have been to Germany and I found the people very hospitable, the culture very progressive and the government very pragmatic. It upsets me that so many people still hate Germans; but it seems a byproduct of the western world being raised with the Hollywood obsession with the holocaust.
Is it racist to hate modern Germans based on the Nazi period?

Not even all Germans back then were Nazis...

  • Perhaps it's not "racist" per se, but nonetheless it's the very definition of bigotry.

Jews are obsessed with the holocaust and making movies about it, while ignoring much worse atrocities. I guess it helps them justify STEALING land. There's a reason they ended up in ovens in the first place.

Yes. And very stupid as well. Two generations of Germans after WW2 went very liberal, perhaps as a sort of reaction against the excesses of some of their elders. But these liberal Germans went too far in their internalized guilt - I once worked with a native German lady who despite having been born in 1946, somehow felt personally guilty for what happened during the Third Reich.

As she should. That's how they're raised. Every German, before and since, was responsible for what the Nazis did. Do you know why they're taught to feel that way? So it won't happen again.

Look at white people in the US. Horrible people, right? When they first got there from Europe they killed every Native American in sight, stole their land, and enslaved black people to build on the stolen land. But, of course, white people today don't feel any guilt or remorse over it...they mock and ridicule the idea that they should. And that's why white supremacy is so common to this day. If white people were taught to feel personal guilt about the millions of Native Americans that have been slaughtered, what's happening at Standing Rock wouldn't be happening. If white people were taught to feel personal guilt about slavery, Jeff Sessions wouldn't be the Attorney General and it wouldn't be legal for police officers to kill unarmed black people by shooting them in the back. If men were taught to feel personal guilt for rape culture and the wage gap(yes, both of those things are very real), they would go away.

It goes back to the old saying that people who don't learn from history are doomed to repeat it...Germans learned from their history. White Americans haven't.

That's not to say it's right or normal to judge Germans for the actions of Nazis...you couldn't judge all Germans by the actions of Nazis DURING THE WAR, forget about today. But there's a reason Germans take personal responsibility for what happened, and it's a damn good reason. Americans could learn a lot from them.

We white people will never feel guilty over what happened a few centuries ago, hell even if I was the one personally responsible for it, I wouldn't even feel any guilt. If you can't defend what is yours and what you claim as yours than you don't deserve it. Native Americans are inferior, tribal people. We came here, gave them fermented liquor and they destroyed themselves. Blacks, Hispanics and arabs are basically all the same thing. It's why genetically superior whites across the globe are getting fed up and starting to tighten the noose. Just look at Europe and America.

That's why we whites are finally starting to organize thankfully. Voting in Donald Trump was a HUGE step in the right direction. He's already starting to dismantle the anti-white legislation and other such damage Obozo did in the last 8 years. Voting in Obozo was basically the high point in social justice causes like you believe in. We whites won't make that same mistake again.

White America is in control of America again, and I couldn't be happier. We're the majority, we're superior and if people wish to immigrate here and live here, they will live on our terms, if they won't they will be cast out.

I am so proud to be white.

P.S. Women aren't PAID less, they just EARN less.

The Germans are different now. They shouldn't be blamed for the crimes of their ancestors.

Germans and Nazis are two separate groups. Not all Germans were Nazis as not all Germans agreed with the Nazi regime. Also, Operation Paperclip brought over roughly 1500 Germans (many high ranking Nazis) to the US right after WW2.
So that's easy for me to answer XD
