Is it possible to make friend with professor? (female- female)

hi I'm a 21 years old female and I go to small private university (I'm undergraduate) in the most boring town in US
.and I'm wondering, if it's possible to make friend with my professor who is also female . I had her class once, and going to take her class this coming semester again, and more (she is in my major department). I got A yay! I ask her lots of questions about class .
she is 28 years old, friendly, open-minded woman .
like I said, I'm living in the most boring town and I'm kinda obsessed with making friendships.
I really think she is a good person to know.she is kind to me, and also we have lots of common things that are usually rare here. she also teaches sports in next school
I really want to get to know her, how should I do to know her better?

    I don't believe you. There is no college in town where I live.

    On the side of real advice, I don't really know how to make friends with profs, but I have seen it done and I'm going to a small private college as well.

    well the reason why i made friends with my professors is that they'd share pieces of private information... not like nasty info, just private things of their lives, i guess they have to also find you interesting in order for them to want to befriend you also. (not saying youre boring) but idk, there should be an opportunity where the level of prof and student changes to being friends, start iff slow, and if not just ask to share a couple of drinks together and just add that you need a friend.

    just talk to her more and befriend her. it is not difficult i have professor friends which i currently still talk to via texting and talking on the phone. it;s a neat experience and very challenging to talk to people like them who are educated, it's actually healthy to talk to people and befriend them, helps your cognitive behavior... something like that... but anyway, just befriend her.. and also, seems like a girl crush too hehe,

      I'm not. But, how do you do that?
      I don't really see any chance to talk to my professor.
      I usually talk to her when I'm packing before I leave her office. only after I'm done all the business with her. Also I don't go to her office unless I have reasonable reasons.
      So, can you tell me how you make friends with professor?
