Is it possible to live an adventurous and profession/adult life?

What I mean is is it possible to have a career and be a responsible adult, while having adventures like traveling, going to concerts, humanitarian work, and basically anything you can think of that would be adventurous/story-worthy? And I don't just mean careers like in art, travel, music, nor anything that requires to go out and explore. (I'm not very artistic) I mean like the most adult careers you can think of.
I'm curious because I'm reaching that age where I'm beginning to be expected to really commit and settle in a career and be "an adult" Lol but I hate the idea that I am giving up my chances to continue to venture into the world and enjoy myself. I'm working toward a career in Psychology/Criminal Justice because I absolutely love those fields, yet I'm too scared to really settle in because...well I already explained. Lol. Anyway, please share your thoughts.

Working the 9-5 and living for your weekends is the norm. To break out of that cycle, you need to be able to generate a passive income.

Renting out property or owning a business are two ways to get you there. Whatever path you take won't be easy.

In my experience, no. I've worked hard but found that in life you are always paying off a debt of some kind. But you can be smarter through smart investments and careful money management.

    • Thanks for being honest. I know it's always been an obvious step to be smart with money, but it's not always enough. Not everyone is lucky enough to work and do the things they want. So fucking depressing. :/

Sure. You can do it if you want to.
