Is it possible to hate the country's food if you grew up there

I don't think it's possible because your taste depends on what you ate as a kid

I'm american, and our food is frakking disgusting. Only a few Gems can be found amongst our cuisine, and most of them are some variation of macaroni and cheese. As Americans we fry everything, and coat our food with oil. Hamburgers our the worst palate offender in my opinion, who would want to eat meat on a bun that's soggy from condiments and meat juice?

Not true, at least according to my experiences. I had to eat some of our traditional foods as a kid and I still don't like any of them.
