Is it off-putting if a girl gives her number online too soon

Lets say you see a great girl on the internet and you private message her and you talk for a bit and then ask for her phone number and she gives it to you, do you find that off-putting and make you wonder if she gives out her number to every Tom, Dick and Jerry? Or do you think she' s straight forward no playing games and just great? What is the timeline on the whole giving someone you met online your number

    That depends how the relationship is developing.

    & if you're asking for the number don't fucking judge if you do get it.
    That's a cunt act, like you're testing her & she somehow failed.

    Dude maybe back in the 70's or 80's it would be weird. Giving a phone number is like nothing these days. I mean complete strangers can find and contact you on Facebook. Besides, she doesn't have to answer your call if she doesn't want too.

    In my opinion, it would be a little off putting that they would give their number to some person they meant on the internet that soon. Well, it's not really off putting but weird to me.

    I wouldn't give someone I met online my number unless we've been talking for an extensive amount of time. What ever happened to internet safety? I remember back in my day they use to say don't put your real name on the internet. Now people are giving strangers their phone numbers? lol Its quite hilarious when you think about it but anyways...

    If they someone gives you their number really soon then they either like you and want to talk to you more or they just give it out to everyone. I wouldn't be worried about it though sharing personal information with people online is no big deal it seems. lolz
