Is it normatl not to know what i want

I am 23. I just graduated from college last year. But i am kind of lost.I don't really what I want. A small family but maybe poor, or earn a lot of money to make ppl respect me, or be a good person but not treated well while many bad ppl are respected, or to live in a country side far a way from a city but i worry about my "career", or just treat it well to ppl treating u well, and stay away from ppl that not nice to u... Do you ever think like that? Please give me an advice!

Consider: Are we here on Earth only for ourselves, or for others? The answer, I believe, lies in between. Perhaps we become better people by helping others. We can be selfish in a way by wanting good experiences, things and relationships, and that is not truly being selfish, which, by definition, is ignoring the needs and feelings of others. Help another human being, even by smiling at them, or by holding open a door. And by all means, be grateful for everything life has to offer, even if it seems bad or devastating at the moment. Clouds may bring rain, but rain makes flowers grow. Strive to be content and help others. This will bring you peace.

it's hard to advice something.. see, everyone is different and has different ideals and goals. Just don't let the routine grind you down. As long as you're flexible and willing to embrace the change new ideas will pop into your head every so often. I don't really know what to do either, have been a lot of things, and travelled a lot of places, and it's always back to square 1.
But it's not really frustrating, just try again and see.

"Don't feel guilty if you don't know what you want to do with your life. The most interesting people I know didn't know at 22 what they wanted to do with their lives. Some of the most interesting 40-year-olds I know still don't."

As the buddha would say, Find the middle way.

There are so many extremes in life that so many people ever try. The consumate business man that may live in a pent house and have every world possesion but have no real emotion or living tie to others. Or there is the poor man that who may have not recieved any education but is wise in the ways of life and love. He may live under a bridge for that matter.

No matter which path you choose there is a reciprocate amount of love, life and pain. If you become so concerned with what could be then inevitable you will lose sight of the present.

Make a choice, whatever it may be. The one that you feel is right is always the best, everything else will fall into place.
