Is it normal you guys are full of double standards?

Many of you are full of double standards when it comes to girls claiming to be straight but wanting lesbian sex compared to guys claiming to be straight and wanting gay sex. Evidence:

Exhibit A:

Here the guy is treated by the posters like he really is a gay guy who is in the closet about it.

Exhibit B:

Here people respond differently, they don't all say she's a lesbian but that maybe she's bi. The man isn't given any options like this - he is just thought of as gay.

Two points
1. Guys can fool around with other guys and yet be more interested in women for the long term and likely to identify as straight. It doesn't make it serious just coz two men are involved.

2. Women being interested in other women doesn't always just mean they are straight but curious or bi, it can mean they are real lesbians.

  • Double standards do exist widely in society. Is it fair ? No. Did anyone promise life was gonna be fair? No.

Are you just now finding out that double standards exist? How old are you? Are you even old enough to be on this site?

It is a double standard. I think men should be allowed to be bisexual without fear of ridicule. I guess everyone thinks gay or bi men aren't macho enough.

I agree there are double standards, but imo those posts are a bad example of it. Most people on the male version described him as "not straight", which doesn't necessarily mean completely gay. The main difference is the female version was taken more seriously, commenters were more jestful with the guy...that is probably because there have been countless posts here identical to the male version so the subject is taken less seriously.

    • And you know what? I made up the female post just to prove a point.

You don't understand. A man's masculinity is everything to him. When that's in question by men, it's also in question by women. And that is a terrifying thought.

I see where your coming from mate but as a straight guy i honestly dont think men can be bi. Given our whole constitution we are hard wired to love pussy, obsess about it even...so then if the inverse happens and a guy is attracted to dicks there is no middle ground. Cher'

Good qn.I think being bi unlike being straight or gay is something people grow into rather than being born that way.
You get a 'taste' of the other side and you realise you like it too.Doesnt realy mean you love both sides but rather ( in the male perspective) that although you like 5men i.e you are gay,you can fuck pussy and be cool bout it. But i see what your saying...i cannot realy tell if a bi person wasn't hard wired that way from birth.
