How come I went to buy my son some things for the upcoming summer and seems like every shirt had a damn monkey on it, WTF? I'm african American. Normal or am I just overthinking it?

    Probably overthinking it. Monkeys are associated with warmer more tropical weather ie. Summer. Kind of like penguins and polar bears in the summer. Nothing racist. Its normal.

    I've noticed the animal trend too. I managed to find some plain, solid color shirts for my daughter. What brand were they? Garanimals. Go figure.
