I know a girl who's turned off by masturbation. She says that it's "gross" and doesn't have any desire to masturbate. From what I can tell, she's never masturbated in her life. She's 23.
I started when I was 4, and I'm a girl. But then, I've always been afraid I was abnormal.
She LIES! ok ok maybe not lying, but if she is telling the truth imagine her upbringing to have that issue.
she is a liar. i'm betting even nuns have masturbated at least once in their lifetime. she's probably just too embarrassed to admit it (which i don't blame her, lots of girls are, but unnecessarily).
Common... maybe not but i promise you that its the case with a significant minority of healthy women for religious/cultural/body morphobic reasons. As such its got to be counted as a normal condition, all be it an unfortunate one.
It's normal. There is a difference between saying "I don't masturbate" and "I've never masturbated". I think close to 100% of people have done it, but many people sincerely lose the desire to continue. It is not fulfilling, or they can't orgasm that way...whatever.
I've known women who had no reason to lie about it, and who sincerely told me that they just don't enjoy it. They weren't opposed to it, but it didn't please them.
There really are girls who don't. I dated one who didn't like to, she did do it a time or two but said it felt weird to do. It might have been a religious thing though in her case.
This is not per say a lie, my longtime Wife does not masturbate and does not understand masturbating and unable to say the work “Masturbation” or a work that means the same. I do not believe see is able to have the big “O”. And this is the truth and sad as I am to say.
she probably just wants people to think she's above that or something when she really does it just like anyone else. or she still believes the whole you'll go blind thing or something similar
I might of done it as a kid, but since then I don't think I have. I find it to be pointless. I know it's healthy, but I don't have the desired for it. I don't have an desire for much of anything, really. Even when I dream, I don't have the desire.
Most girls have masturbated but just don't like to speak about it. When boys ask me if I have, I deniy it too. She probablly just doesn't like the subject which most girls I know don't like it either; But don't worry, she probablly masturbates all the time:L
When i was younger like 13 the girls i knew never did it and thought it was gross i just thought of them as immature but i started masturbating around when i was 9 or 10 xD btw im a girll :) but some people just dont masturbate its normal not to, but its def normal to do it :)))

In my honest opinion, I think everyone has pleased themselves or at least 98%%, Masturbation is 100%% healthy and normal, and also great tools for fore-play and games with your spouse/partner there is absolutely nothing "gross" about it. I think it is NOT normal to think masturbation is gross.
