Is it normal withdrawl symptoms

I did coke almost everyday for the last 2 years. I decided 3 days ago that it was enough and I haven't dine it since. I know it's only 3 days but it's a start and I don't really have a craving for it. Anyway I've been secerly moody and really down ever since. I feel numb in my head and just want to sleep. I feel mentally aweful. Is thus part of detox?

Yea two years is a long time. I did coke for maybe 5 or 6 months almost everyday. I haven't even seen the stuff since Dec. of last year and don't plan on doing so either. The withdrawal can be dangerous though and it's not easy. The first few days aren't so bad it gets worse and probably peaks at the month. I have the unfortunate circumstance that i feel as if I'm in some intense coma and haven't gotten over it. I suggest getting a gym membership and start working out every day for a while. The chemicals in your brain should balance out a little better this way. Plus It will keep your heart rate up. After two years of coke your heart probably wont be used to being relaxed so you might as well keep the rate up by working out.

Totally normal. You must have spent a lot of money on coke if you used almost everyday for the past 2 years, imagine all the money you'll save now. If the withdrawl gets to bad you could try going to your doctor, tell him/her you're having panic attacks due to work or school stress and get some ativan, just be carefull with the ativan because it is addictive but will definately soften the landing.

Completely normal with any addiction. The first two weeks are usually the worst, but you just have to stick with it. It might help if you have a support system of friends and family. Good luck!
