Is it normal with these meds for this to happen?

I'm on depo provera and zoloft. I know that with both of these medications it is possible to experience a decrease in your sex drive. I however do not have one at all. Is this normal?

A lot of meds do that. I was put on lexapro a few years ago and I stopped taking it shortly after. Besides the fact that it made me tired and yawn non-stop, it totally erased my libido. I'm not down with that, so bye bye meds. My friend who I don't see often said she had no sex drive then mentioned lexapro. I was like, oh man, that's why! it made me realize why I wasn't really interested in sex when I was younger because I was on so much shit, I eventually took myself off, but still didn't realize the sex drive thing til I was older

i love zoloft!!!!! haha my dentist gives me something like this to relieve anxiety whenever he has to give me shots in my gums to numb them. i hyperventialte when i see the needles so he writes me a prescription with like only 20 pills but i ONLY take one when i have to get the shots. I am no drug abuser. lol i lost my last batch of prescription. i think a druggy came into my last apartment and stole them from me!
i can't stand scrubby no life people who just sit around doing drugs!!! ohwell anyways tlak to your doctor!

The Zoloft for sure. Ask your Doctor to switch you to Wellbutrin.

It might be that you have a very strong reaction to the meds. Ask your MD. Peace out.
