My wife is turning this into a federal case an trying to force OUR DAUGHTER to go the sleepover Valentine's day weekend she doesn't really want to go because she was invited their first and my wife wants to makes couple friends with her rich parents because they are a higher class of people.We won't be home when this happens.My daughter doesn't really like the girl much and is much closer to the girls at the party.I think my daughter should be allowed to make her own decision at 16, am I wrong? My wife is not speaking to me and has yelled at me about it for the last two days. I sick of giving in and being made the bad guy.This is a rehash of the time wife got my daughter's hair cut short like hers so they could be twins while my daughter sobbed her head off. Then their was last year when my wife tried to make my daughter choose soccer with a mean coach over cheerleading where she is happy. My daughter ended up going behind our backs and fixing it all so she could be in cheerleading.

    Step up and be a man and a father and do what is best for your child. She comes before you AND your wife. Put your wife in her place and deal with the backlash for your daughters sake. Damn.
