It's normal to feel like this as a teenager. I remember that when I was fifteen I thought I was overweight just to realise that I was as thin as a stick at that age. I'm sure you look good because birds of same feathers flock together. Anyway it seems that you are a teenager and at this age boys tend to date the least timids girls. Your lack of confidence may be perceived as hostility by the boys of your school. In some years you'll think about all this with a smile.

And just think. With all those boys around them, those little butterflies won't fly very high with a caterpillar on the way. But seriously, feel very lucky that jerks aren't swarming. At that age, I was lucky that I had time to think about people around me before I got swept up in mistakes I didn't have to make.

When you realize you need to pay attention to "what's underneath" those freshly styled bangs (that the wind will just, absolutely ruin~*), your acne caked over with concealer, and your middle school "friends 4 lyfe" and their shallow opinions, you'll see more important things, like that "2" is not a word. Words of wisdom: people will believe in someone with confidence. They will believe you and what you say. If you're unsure of your own opinions, how can you prove them to anyone around you? The people with the most serious social anxieties and self confidence issues became the most beautiful people in their years to come that I have ever met, because they adapted to a cruel world, and learned to love themselves. The one person you should give a chance to is yourself. When you feel a secure, unbreakable bond with yourself, there won't be anyone who can get through your iron clad shell.
I can't wait until you stretch your wings and fly up out of grade school, little butterfly. In the sky, you'll truly see from a new perspective.
    -you from the future.

Almost all girls feel like this as a teenager. You're always constantly comparing yourself to other girls and you never feel good enough...
Just because you haven't been asked out means absolutely nothing, I can tell you now that you are probably very beautiful if your friends are good looking. As the above poster said; birds if a feather flock together.
Now, here's a secret I discovered. You know how they say that your best accessory is confidence? It's completely true. People can smell a lack of confidence a mile away. I realised, that as soon as I walked around with my shoulders ack and my head held high, wore nicer clothes and a smile, boys genuinely started noticing me when they hadn't before. Not joking, that confidence stuff works.
