Is it normal when you die to see....

My Auntie has died several times, because she had a really bad car accident. she said that when she died she saw different things, the first time she saw her mother sitting at the end of a tunnel, but when she called out for her, her mother did not respond. the second time she said she saw these horrible creature like things that were so ugly, and smelt like the worst thing imaginable. and they were dragging her down under the earth to hell. The third time she said there was a big hallway that had loads of doors, and behind each door the worst sort of torture imaginable was happening to people.
Have any of you or your relatives had this happen to you?

    I had a teacher that once went surfing in the autumn. He ended up in he hospital for hypothermia, and he was so cold that, legally. He was dead for ten minutes.

    Any flatlining technically is death. It can be reversed by defibrillator paddles, but it is considered death.

    I watched a special on this years ago. It's like entering a state of shock where your brain releases chemicals to make you visualize these things because dying is (of course) too much for your body to go through. Something like that...

    It may mean that she is going to go to hell. I mean who am I to judge but that's what it sounds like...tell her to go to church pray and apologize to some people.

    this happened to my friends grandma she was in a car acccident but she was looking down on herself and she could see herself ...

    People can dream while they're in 'Coma' or half dead(still able to maybe come back to life).
    So maybe she had a dream,and she was very lucky to remember it. Or she's demented? could be too..

    i think when you die, you just fall asleep for a very very very long time, you see nothing and there is nothing. everything,literally everything is gone.

    It's possible that her brain saw this when she was revived or close to death and unconscious, and that she didn't see anything when she actually died.
