Is it normal when you are ready to move people get weird

I have moved several times in my life, most of them were work related ( new job), almost always out-of-state. In many instances the people I knew or had been working with previously become distant, in some cases angry when I told them. Or they stop interacting with me all together. PeopleI had gotten along with for years, once they found out I was leaving, " cut me out" and became distant and a little weird!

    Ya. They prObably hate to see you leave conatantly. Maybe juat staying at one place could help improve your social life.

    They're trying to make it easier for themselves when you leave. It's a rejection coping strategy.

    It's normal but it still is a bit f-ed up. They're probably trying to make your departure easier on themselves.
