Is it normal when waving...

When I wave quickly to someone while passing by them I get a few steps and start to worry they mistook my wave for flipping them the bird (did they only see my middle finger?) this fear happens EVERY TIME I wave at someone... IIN?

Stop waving? Sometimes, I'll just raise my hand, and bend some of my fingers slightly. I usually do this at an angle. I don't know why, but I feel so silly when I wave.

What's that bird that can imitate any sound? It imitates a chainsaw perfectly in the rain forest. Amazing bird
