Is it normal when i was little i made friends with my eye floaters

There was this recurring purplish blue spot in my vision that kinda looked like a muppet or Flintstone vitamin. I thought it was an "imaginary friend" come to visit, but I found out later they were (something like) eye floaters. I also used to press on my eyes awhile to make other shapes/colors appear. IIN?

      Oh yeah! I forgot about that. It wasn't that kind of floater but I've gotten those too. It was about the size and shape of a vitamin and in my mind it looked kinda like (a very abstract version of) Grover from Sesame Street.

      My floaters are semi-translucent strands with knobs on them. They look a bit like DNA as if I am living in a microscopic world.
