Is it normal that when I see a pregnant woman, I want to ask if it was an accident? I'm just really curious as to how many people actually PLAN to get pregnant. I think the majority are accidents but maybe that's just because I grew up in a rough area where young couples having a kid is common.
Well that's too personal to ask. If you really want to know how many pregnancies are planned, you could try Googling it.
I'd feel slightly awkward if you asked it liked that lol...couldn't you rephrase it and saying..."you got a little'un on that way?" (you might get a smile and yes from them) then you could ask "is it all going to plan ok?" Might find she might turn round say "well actually it was an accident". Might still freak out but slightly more gentle approach "then was it an accident"
Why don 't you Google it? Last time I checked, in the USA, the rate was 51 percent of pregnancies were unplanned.
