I get a drying swelling feeling too, but only if it's good quality and I don't put anything in it. Try regular tea with milk ;)

If i were you i would try talking to a doctor or someone who is experienced with problem like these. You should not drink it anymore. It very well could of been the brand of tea as well. Good luck with this.

Could be an allergy, or maybe the tea is just too hot. First, try drinking the tea a little colder. If that doesn't help I'm afraid you're just allergic to tea and you shouldn't drink it anymore.

Maybe you're having an allergic reaction? Do you use any artificial sweeteners? What kind of tea are you drinking; is it black, green or herbal tea?

    • Any type, usually herbal. Sometimes I put a little honey or milk in my tea, but that's about it.

        Chamomile is related to ragweed.

Depends on if you have a ragweed allergy.
