i daydream a lot, and when i daydream i twitch and my hands sort of move around is it normal?
i don't really realise im doing this and when it happens i have no idea whats happening around me the only reason i know its happening is because some of my friends filmed me.
Not too normal. Only when yoire day dreaming? Side note, why does everyone film everything these days? Jeez..
Anyways, if it continues perhaps you should see a nuerologist. It could be a tic disorder if it continues outside of these day dreams. Or perhaps your mind gets lost in your false reality, but ever so slightly slips back into reality, causing a jerk when it gets back to the physical senses. It makes sense to me. I'm sure you're fine. no worries.
It is entirely normal. It is called a mayoclonic jerk. When people are asleep/falling asleep your brain will jerk you around to make sure you are alive and not dead. If it happens while you are in a deep sleep, you may be acting out your dreams.
