Is it normal when a guy & girl argue everyday?

at the beginning of the year (school year) we don't know each other.
we don't talk to each other even tho if we go and leave school together along with other friend. then their was this day when I ask him something, then our friends just start saying "you guys should date, u look great together" we didn't really care about it since we both don't like each other, then after few weeks we start talking to each other and when we get to know each he began calling me names or punch my shoulder just to get my attention but the more I ignore the more he does it, so I punch him or call him name back.
ever since that day we start arguing with each other, we argue in the bus, metro (subways) and in school, theres no day where we don't argue.
even in Facebook we still argue.
so is it normal??

    Sounds like these cop movies where a male and female cop who can't stand each other have to work together, argue all the time but end up fucking each other. Happy End.

    Playful bickering is pretty normal, as long as it's not the only way you two communicate. However, serious daily arguments is certainly not healthy. If this is happening I'd suggest talking with one another when both of you are in a good head space and finding ways to communicate with each other that don't involve verbal, emotional, or physical abuse.

      we communicate normally after the arguments,.. and after few minutes we start arguing again..
