When you shut your eyes do you see shapes and colors? When I do I see alternating colors, a lot of the times like a lava lamp. It can be trippy.
My maths teacher did an experiment with the class when I was fourteen. We had to close our eyes and envision shapes, leading to a geometric puzzle, and then give our answers to his questions about it.
Then he asked how many people actually "saw" the shapes. The majority of people put their hands up. He said the people with their hands down were more mathematically minded and the people with their hands up were more creative.
I couldn't see any shapes at all and just worked out the geometry problem mathematically. I was a bit pissed off that my body was saying I was mathematical (which I am) even though I am almost just as creative.
I do this sometimes but i think you should close your eyes and put your palms over your eyes with a littl presure on the eyes you will see alot fo blue dots and then it might hurt for a few seconds but after it stops hurting you see more than just shapes.
