Is it normal too

I'm on a dating site. I've never had a boyfriend and I usually match with weirdos! Every so often a few nice men who I'm attracted to come through.
It usually starts well like we have a good few hours of flirting etc then they either stop talking... or we add each other on snapchat and snap for a bit then the next day it's like the never even spoke, and I don't know whether to start a convo or leave it a few days? I keep my options open but when I like someone I can only focus on them. And when they don't start the message I feel weird messaging first because I feel annoying... so I act different.

Help?
