Sometimes my tonsil will hurt so I go look in the Mirror @ it and there will be this white stuff that looks like it's coming out of it. I have pressed on it with a Q tip and it comes out. It kinda hard. It's gross :s has anyone had this and do you know what it is??? Thanks for your info :)
I had to go to hospital once because it got pretty bad but they didnt say anything about taking them out, I would have run if they did, in fact I ended up running anyway. Im really freaked out by anything medical.

I have viral tonsillitis all the time and sometimes wish mine were taken out. :(
Tonsiloths aka tonsil stones. I had them a lot & also had strep throat and tonsilitis a lot. Finally went to an ear, nose & throat specialist. She figured I had horrible allergies. She tested me, I got on shots & now my throat feels better & I don't get those gross tonsil stones anymore.
That happened to me all the time before I had my tonsils removed. I had Tonsilitis A LOT and they were rotten. Really not good :(
This is normal. It happens when you get strep throat. Usually you are left with these little holes in your tonsils and those little white things happen because food and bacteria get stuck in there. I noticed that I usually get those when I've been exposed to moldy environments.
Tonsil stones - google it. Totally normal. Not everyone gets em but a lot of people do.
