I was sitting with my drunk boyfriend and his friend when our 4 yr old little boy ran up and crashed into the couch. I knew it was a bad fall and scooped him up. His dad started yelling You're a pussy at him because he was crying. Anyone think this is normal behavior for a grown man?

because I got pissed and wouldn't talk to him for the rest of the night.

(for the record, it was a bad fall and our son had a dark bruise in the area he hit the next day)

    No, it's not normal. That is child abuse and you should not tolerate it. Report the dad and leave his ass before he does it again or something worse to the child. The child is probably scarred enough already as it is.

        Well, I'm just saying that you shouldn't call a child a pussy or any other name. It's wrong. Kids should be allowed to cry without some adult calling them names or doing something worse to them. They are not "mini adults". They should grow up knowing that it's OK to cry and it's all part of being human.

    He's a child abuser, and is scarring the poor child for life. You shouldn't stand for it. Tell him if he does it again, there will be consequences, even up to reporting him.

    The kid is like four. I really doubt they can do a lot at that age. You can easily hurt and pick up a four year old with very little effort. They are probobly not incredibly strong either considering the size of the child. Little kids are usually more sensitive. In every single way since they are not fully developed, they are very small, and even a strong one might be weak compared to an adult or older teen. They are however a lot more flexible do to the fact the bone still probobly has a lot of cartologe. They also might be very hyper and energetic. What do you expect from a four year old? Do you expect him to be head warrior of Rome? He is fucking four? So if you really expect anything more you are severally brain damaged. Children are not mentally alright even in the teen years.
