Is it normal to yell at the evening news?

I can't watch the news anymore because I am so opinionated it makes me so mad because I'm constantly disagreeing with them or getting frustrated at the narrow minded journalism or what I think is just pure and simple propaganda. Is it normal?

I used to be the same way, yelling and smashing televisions. Now I simply rub my bare ass against the screen whenever someone I don't like comes on the TV.

"Talk to the anus, Oprah! "

I hope your tv isn't mounted up on the wall. Oh this is giving me quite the visual.

I was a news junkie. I stopped watching and reading about stuff I had no control over. Made me happier.

Instead of becoming angry, why not do something about it instead?

First, please do not use -ists or -isms. Learn how to express yourself differently, without using these.
Example: Journal writer, Media personality, Media hack, etc.
Next, do not use terminology which creates theological divisions in society.
Try to live by the Rules.
If everyone did this, then much of the 'news' would disappear.

My grandparents yell at the TV when they're watching some politics shit and I just wanna punch them in the face because it's so fucking annoying when people yell at the TV it's not like they hear you or anything.

    • Yeah I know but when you are so opinionated you need to vent somehow. But I have started doing more productive things to vent my frustration.

I more get frustrated with the content of the news, what ridiculous things the politicians are doing to the country. I've definitely shouted at the news before though - most notably when there was a court case in which a severely physically disabled man was denied by the court the right to die despite the fact that he considered his life a living hell. Because the court couldn't think of a good reason they simply said it was a job for Parliament not the courts as an excuse to turn his plea down. They didn't even have the respect to give him a good reason why he couldn't do it. That made me so angry, the supreme arrogance of it.

    I digress. Yes, it's normal.

Yeah I thought the outcome of that case was incredibly disappointing...

At least the disabled gentleman died 6 days after not being 'allowed' to die.

He did have to starve himself to death though if I remember rightly, which must be an awful way to die and a terrible way for his family to have to watch him die. The whole case was really sad.
