Is it normal to yawn when i read the word yawn???

So my friend spammed me by sending me an email with lots of "yawns" in it. Every time I read the word yawn, I yawn. Is that usual?

    I will reply to this old thread because no one else gave the proper reply: Perfectly normal and it is one of the signs that humans are a pack-living animal since we have a lot of "contagious" behaviours such as yawning.
