I was in the eighth grade when me and my friends had a competition to see who could write the best sex scene. They were explicitly detailed and were mostly about our teachers. This continued as almost a full romance novel, with sex on every page and all of our girlish fetishes shown. Is this normal behavior for a small group of eighth grade girls?
What a coincidence!! You should see my 8th grade note books. I filled out all the last pages with very wild sex stories. Very wild.
Make a sex novel. They are very popular with women. Though I wish they had something without fabio as the main character.
I started at 12 (it's so scary that I remember), and well......I'm 18 now and I still write stuff like that( even better ^^). It actually improves your writing skills tremendously. (haha. I get compliments in Journalism..if only they know how I came to be this way XD)
I think it's normal. And from what I read middle school seems like a magical time for us girls.

You should go on FanFiction, as long as you go to the right place it's full of written porn. I'm not American so I don't know what age eighth grade is but if it's 12 or over I'd say this is completly normal, I do this sometimes with my friends actually.
I'm an aspiring novel writer, however most of my work is horror/sci-fi or epic fantasy in genre, I often include graphic sex scenes, i think maybe you just have a very imaginative sex mind and writing is a good way to get it out
Oh, don't worry... I'm one of those people who writes sexual stories too. I've been writing since my Sophomore year in HS. :)

My friends did it on manga. I talked about it but never wrote it. I was more of the type to experience things for real but mostly with other girls that i liked or my girlfriends. I did things with guys to but I didn't have sex till i was 17 so that was a mystery growing up on how it felt.
I texted a couple of dirty sex story to my friend who liked me but it was something we did to each other as he has a gift of writing really good sex stories. I mean i didn't like him as anything more then a friend but his stories almost convinced me to just go round and just let him ravish me lol

Don't worry, my friends and I used to do this too! We were a bit younger though, we were only in sixth grade! This is very normal.
It seems normal to me, it could be a hidden talent of you both. You can also write a big one and try to publish it. Whatever you choose to do, I assure you it will be better than Fifty Shades of Grey.
