Is it normal to write about him when he dosen't know?

My crush of 4 years whom I've known for 4 years of what started out as a online friendship (he only lives 2 hrs away) told me that he doesn't want to get into a relationship right now but if he ever did I would have first dibs. and then he got really insecure of himself and stopped texting me after our hour long phone call where he admitted that he liked me in so many words. I haven't heard from him for a little while, but he is my happiness, ofcourse I want more then to be friends, but just his conversations and his laugh is enough to make me smile. My question is: Is it normal for me to write a story based on words said by him in our conversation even though he has no clue i'm writing it?

    It sounds like you are already writing a story about him in your mind. I think you are reading way too much into what he said ('he admitted that he liked me in so many words') and you've freaked him out.
    Write whatever you like, but try to separate what you want to hear from what is actually being said, if he talks to you again.
