Is it normal to worry about some of the users?

Sometimes, I worry about my fellow users. Its something that I can't help. I wonder about how they are and whether or not they are okay. However, my level of caring is different for one user. This is a user that I've grown to develop feelings for and I feel a hard to describe "connection" between us. I spend a lot of my time worrying about her. I worry about things like her health and safety. I just care for her so much and I often want to tell her that but I never manage to find the right time or words to do so. I do wonder if she knows, but to some extent she probably already does. I'm just too shy to directly tell her how I feel.

Is it normal?

    I think it's totally normal. I find myself wondering and worrying about some people, too (no one in particular in my case, just some especially moving or sympathetic stories).

    You're a compassionate person, and that's more than just normal; it's admirable.

    There are people here who I consider good friends, and like all my good friends I care about them and if they say something that gives me good cause to worry about them then yeah, I will worry.

    Frankly, I really worry for a user called The Ghost Of The Marlboro Man. His uncanny obsession with cigarettes makes me wonder what his health is like. Then again, he could be a five year old chinese girl who hasn't ever touched a cigarette in her life. So could I for that matter. O_o

    I've had people respond to some of my anonymous stories with concern and it was uncomfortable. I HOPE people don't think about me like that....

    They'll be right, they're mainly hormonal angst ridden disillusioned perplexed youth anyway, I wouldn't worry too much about it. They will come of age in due time.

    Aww, that's sort of cute. I don't worry about people unless they say something worrying (how strange!:P). Especially if I care about them as well.
