Is it normal to worry about my girlfriend dumping me over going bald?

Right, I'm 18, 19 in about a month, and I have noticed that I have a receding hairline, and I have been freaking out constantly, I'm not going to go through all this stuff with taking medication to slow it down, because that's not going to stop it 100%, I will still go bald at some point.
Right, to the real question, my girlfriend doesn't like bald guys, and I'm quite skinny but that's because of my high metabolism.
I'm worried that my girlfriend will dump me the day going bald becomes noticeable, is it normal to worry over this?
and do you think she will be worth it if she did dump me over something as stupid as going bald?

    If you got the head for it, go skinhead. I apparently have wonderous thick hair, which is really annoying, so when i was 15 a few years ago i shaved all my hair off. It got the ladies foaming at the mouth, i tell ya!
    Besides, i got a friend called martin who has the worst receding hairline, i mean when he was 12 he had no fringe! he could buy fags at 12?!?! But nah, all the girls love him.

    If she's willing to dump you for going bald why would you want a girlfriend like that anyway ? Id set some rocks on the ground and tell to start kicking them
