Is it normal to worry about everything!?!

Basicly: I worry about everything, not everything like "omg they're judging me" (even though I do..) but worry of things most people don't.

For example, my six best girlfriends and I are planning a beach trip, and have been since September..in about December, I started worrying about driving and sleeping arrangements, and nobody else had yet.

I worry aboy everything from my looks to my grades to my relationships to my sex life (or lack there of..) to my goals and accomplishments..down to small details or the "maybe" of a situation

Everyone tells me not to worry, but I do anyway..is this normal...? Should I get help..!

There are some people who worry about everything. And it is exhausting. The mind ends up being caught up in a constant cycle of rapid thoughts usually with a worry based on fear of the outcome of a situation. Like I could be really worried that someone is going to break in and nick my laptop, or that I won't be able to sleep or whatever you can worry about absolutely anything. It's a habit. It's not healthy or helpful to worry all the time. But if you have got into the habit it is difficult to break. Learning not to think so many thoughts all the time is a new skill to learn. You also said that you took responsibility for holiday arrangements before other people had thought about things. That sounds like you like to be prepared which is no bad thing if you are a survivalist. However constant worrying is NOT good for your survival it drains your adrenal system and affects your ability to think clearly.

The first step to resolving this abnormal behavior begins with you admitting that your a complete control freak! And why do you feel the need to be in control. Women that have this issue don stay married for long, and always end up marrying wimps. If everything is always a major event with you and it requires planning, take into account that you can only be responsible for your actions and no one else. Take a chill pill...relax or you may stroking out while worrying about dumb sleeping arrangments and everyone else will still be here on earth acting a donkey a$$.

All about you, huh? I can give a word or two. Get the hell out of yourself and do so by performing selfless deeds for others. Go to a post office and open the door for each person that comes. Do this for about three hours. That will helpbyou to some degree not be so self-absorbed.

Yes. I do the same thing, it's totally normal. But you'll be amazed how good you feel once you stop worrying about it all. Just stop worrying and you'll be like "wow. I feel calm." lol
