Is it normal to work as a stripper?
Do you think strippers or the people who attend strip clubs are inherently bad?
Some people have said that strip clubs encourage men to treat women poorly. I think a bar atmosphere, especially one with nearly naked girls is going to attract some rough crowds, and like any place like that it's a common venue in which people behave poorly. But I don't think this is necessarily true of everyone in there...as a man going into a place like this, you have the choice to act in polite manner or treat women as if they are mere objects.
They are standing there in the flesh (literally): living, speaking, moving human beings. If a man cannot see that and make the distinction between an individual being JUST a sexy object as opposed to a human, then that person has serious issues outside of just attending strip clubs.
I'm not trying to say strip clubs are nice, healthy places, they're not. They're pretty gross. But they don't convince people to become misogynists. You get to develop your own ideas/philosophies. The fact that strip clubs exist and some choose to work there shouldn't mean that women are less worthy of respect just based on that alone. What do you think?
