Is it normal, to wonder what the earth's population is doing?

Is it normal to wonder what the earth's population is doing at a certain time? For instance, lets say you've just woken up or are eating your breakfast. Have you ever wondered how many other people had just gotten up like you or were eating their breakfast too?

I've wondered about this for quite some time and it's almost mind-blowing to think about how many other people out of our 7 billion+ population are doing the same exact things. I hope this isn't confusing. is it normal to wonder about this?

    Statistically:

19 million people are celebrating their birthday today
50 million people are having sex right now
    290 million people are eating

And just a handful or people, if that, are reading this. Makes you realise how big the world is, doesn't it?

50 million at one given moment? :/

On average, yeah, but obviously the world's population isn't spread equally throughout the 24 timezones. At this time of day, I think the Chinese have just clocked off and it's time for the Aussies to get wild. :)

We're doing things between living and dying.
