Is it normal to wonder if your senses were swapped?

I read a fictional story that I've just made up about someone whose pathways got messed up in their brain and it swapped two of their senses around. Like taste and hearing. And I wondered, what would a doughnut sound like? What noise would it make?

If smell and sight got mixed up, what would coffee look like? What would you yourself smell like?

I have never thought about that before, but you can rest assured that everything sounds like chicken!

There actually is a disease that swaps your senses, forgot the name though.

This reminds me of a show I was watching in the Science Channel about senses. They showed a woman who'd paint her senses. I wish I could remember, but anyway, she had the ability to draw smells, touches, and hearing. It was interesting.

This reminded me of that. I like this story.

Once when I had a migraine I could smell colors but it was more like when i looked at them i could smell stuff e.g.

when i looked at a blue poster i could smell bubblegum....

spent my entire day tripping over it.

I swear I can taste music.
And my friend sees colors when she hears noises.

Actually, some people have this condition. I was reading an article once on a girl who could see smells. You should look into it. It could help you with your story. I don't remember the name of the disease, but you might type in see smells or hear taste or something like that, and it might help you out.
