Is it normal to wonder how they get away with dirty restaurant names?

I wonder how they get away with giving their restaurants dirty names. One example is Crabby Dick's in Delaware. Not just the restaurant name is suggestive but some of the menu items are also such as crab balls, fruity balls, cream of crab soup, and just to make it even more obvious that none of it is accidental, the boiled oyster's description says "boiled and still good for the libido". How many of you reading this are from somewhere around Delaware and has heard of or been to Crabby Dick's?

There are other good ones that I've looked up online and I've seen restaurant names such as Fu King, Lick-a-chick, Fun in the bun hotdogs, Fat ho burgers, Big Dicks halfway in (motel), Pizza orgasma, Golden shower, Hung Fe lo, and others.

I personally have no problem with this and find some of these names funny, but I still wonder how they get away with naming their restaurants these names when you got families and the general public going to them.

How many of you reading this has been to any of these places I named.

Because most people (thankfully) still have a sense of humour.

    • I find the names funny too, I'm just wondering about it because of families and stuff around.

When the names are a bit near the knuckle or risqué you have to be able to interpret them as so. Kids don't.

        • Some of those names, an 8 or 9 year old or maybe younger will be able to interpret them.
