I wish that Zim and Dib from Invader Zim were my friends because I love them alot and I think that they're wonderful characters. That and I don't have any friends in real life. I recall even dreaming about them a few times. Is it normal I want to be friends with them when I could be friends with people in real life? Am I weird for this?

I really want to have relationships, friendship or romance with many anime characters. I wish I was part of Keiichi's group of friends from Higurashi, which might be a little fucked up considering they all eventually go insane and start killing each other. But in the time leading up to that, they are great friends.
This might sound a little strange but I really wish I were friends with various characters from Don't Starve and the Amnesia series (The Dark Descent and Justine), as well as Clarence from Penumbra: Black Plague.
All of them are insane, but at least I would never get bored talking to them (assuming they let me live long enough to let me converse with them).
