Is it normal to wish that bullies would get cancer, or some other dise

I once said to someone that I wished the people who bullied me when I was growing up would get cancer, or ms, or any really bad incurable disease, & it would serve them right for being cruel to me when I never did them any harm. The person I said this to told me that I was a really horrible individual for wishing such things on anyone. I don`t agree, I think that it`s normal to want to see life punish people who made my life a living hell when I was a kid, & leaving me with permanent emotional scars. what did she expect me to do, forgive them!

I truly hate some of my family members and I too have repeatedly wished terrible things on them. It's to some extent human nature I think.

Wouldn't your life have been so much better, had you stood up to those bullies, than mope around obsessing on it all now, how many years later?
I just don't get it. Wouldn't standing up to the cretins and taking a beating once beat living a lifetime, forever hating the bullies (really it is yourself, but no one admits that) and remembering the indignity of it all?
Time to just let it go and get on with your life.

Of course, but hindsight is 20/20 as they say. Looking back on what should/could have been done is what'll make someone crazy. But not all bullying was physical, and talking shit back would just be getting on their level, which is eventually pointless. Plus, I suppose it did serve its purpose, to tell weirdos like me when I was being socially unacceptable, and I did learn from that. As for the rest all you can do is sit back and ignore it, hoping karma will deal with them...

If you believe in karma, then karma will take care of those that wronged you. Atleast, I'd like to believe that it does. Then, you don't have to do anything but most importantly, you can still be the bigger person.

Until it can be proven that karma does indeed punish the wicked and rewards the good, it's better to forgive. Withholding all that bitterness and anger is not healthy and it's counterproductive.

I always just hope they're dead... or gotten really fat (for those girls who thought their looks gave them the rights to be bitches)

You want them to get cancer? huh.... I'd rather much beat the crap out of them myself, but to each his own I guess.

Well seeing as I was bullied a lot too when I was younger, I know how you feel. The thing is, It's not bad to think these kind of things. Other people think differently about things and these are kind or radical Ideals. Let me give you an example. I have strong ideas against and for warfare in the middle east. When I come back home in the weekend and have diner with my parents I sometimes tell them how I feel about certain situations, and they always say that it's fine for me to say them in a save environment but not outside it. Others don't react well to that.
I guess all I can say is this. Speaking is silver silence is gold. And with that I mean think before you say something out loud. It might hurt other people feelings. You know that one person you told this too might not really like these bullies but he or she might be repelled because of your thoughts. Try to think a little before expressing yourself:)

I seriously lol'd at the title. All of the idiots who bullied me are losers now. Shit jobs, living with their parents, I lol at their existence.

When I was a kid, I used to feel the same way about the people that bullied me. Holding on to that bitterness is only going to make things worse. It's best just to move on and not let the past consume you.

Bullies suck. But just because they are assholes, doesn't mean they deserve death.
