Is it normal to wish my friend was dead?

I have this friend who everybody calls --------. He dissappeared for a couple of days so i posted on facebook "RIP ---------" and everybody posted LIKE. is this normal? he's not annoying at all its just that people talk to him about suicide and death all the time. Is this normal?

    My friend died a few months ago, I set my status as RIP his name, people liked it - not because they were glad because he died but as a mark of respect for him. I have to say that having been through this loss (the first time I've known someone to die) I could never wish anyone to die. if he really did die I think youd feel awful.

    Sometimes I kid around with my friends an we tell eacher other "I wish you were died". That's normal. If you REALLY want him died then that's different. That's not normal

    If he's "not annoying at all," then why mention it? I think that you really do think that he's annoying or something like that. That suicide and death talk does sort of annoy you - it doesn't take much to annoy people.

    I get jokey stuff, even when it is stupid. But this is just horrible. Normal? Not for a friend. Maybe I've misinterpreted, and if so (and you were only goofing about), then that's just stupid and a bit of a pointless post on here.
