Is it normal to wish it were your baby inside of a female?

Recently I have been hanging out with this pregnant girl, all I know is in her fb status relationship it says "it's complicated"

Sometimes I look at her, and I just want to hold her belly and pretend that I was the one who impregnated her.

Sometimes I REALLY feel as though I wish I were the one to put that baby there.

side question- Do pregnant woman sometimes look at other men and wish THEY were the ones to impregnate them?

Basically, is it a remote possiblity that she is looking at me, and wishing that baby were mine..

    Dude don't worry is normal you feel that way.I've been there but man when your girl gives birth you're gonna be the happiest man in the world even though it isn't your child.the love that her baby will give you has no comparison.remember if you're always gonna be there for them you don't have to worry about anything just treat them right and be the best father you can be.best of luck to you!!!

    I did when I was pregnant with my 3rd as I found out their dad had cheated,(with prostitutes) and all I wanted was a normal dad for my kids....

    Wel im 17 andl I was pregnant with my son 7 months ago, and I never wished that it was someone elses? (Usually guys hope it's not their baby) so.. Not normal? But admirable.
