Is it normal to, when camping with my girlfriend, take number fours?

While camping in the woods my girlfriend and I, when faced with having to take a nature shit, would rather take number 4s than poop solo. For those of you who don't know what this is, it's when you hold hands while pooping (you stop when you have to wipe obviously). The woods in florida can be a pretty dangerous place, and it just makes her feel safer to poop while holding hands with me (I guess?). I'll admit, there's nothing scarier than the idea of being snuck up on by a bear while you're alone taking a dump with your pants around your ankles (how do you run away?). Is this normal behavior for two adults, or is it just wierd and immature?

    If you do it over the edge of a cliff, there's no chance of the bear surprising you. Bears are not known for climbing vertical rock faces.

    Doing it in the woods is probably the worst possible place. That's apparently where bears do it. Every time someone asks "Is the Pope Catholic?" a bear shits in the woods.

    Well, if that's how you deal with the fear of being outside, it's ok.
    It's unusual but i see nothing wrong with it.

    for some reason doing this reminds me alot of playing "swords" when i was a little boy. its just mentally uncomfortable to think about... but really not all that wierd when ur in the act.

    lol i know this sounds completely ridiculous but for some reason it makes her feel safer! i was pretty shocked when she first asked me to and it was, needless to say, uncomfortable as shit (no pun intended)! there's something about dropping a deuce together...while holding hands (i still dont get that part! why cant we just like face each other or something? i mean i can see if something is going to sneak up on her.) that makes her okay with shitting in the woods. i honestly think if i told her i wasn't comfortable with doing this anymore, she probably would refuse to go camping anymore.

    Holding my girls hand while she poops is not an activity I would look forward to, but as far as IIN, I would say its not abnormal.
