yeah, i pissed everytime i slept untill 12 and a half. EVERY time, even just an hour nap. i still have little accidents very rarely and it wakes me up as soon as it leaks, so i can USUALLY make it to the washroom.

I wet the bed until I was 14. My mom was a bedwetter until she was 16. It's all in how fast all the parts grow and they don't all grow at the same speed and at the same time.

    It's normal.

Well there are a few reasons that I can think of that might lead to occasional bedwetting. It's not a bad idea to ask her doctor.
I was a bedwetter as a child and so were my kids. I learned about blood sugar and its effects when it gets very high then drops very low. At bedtime, if someone eats sweets without protein, they fall asleep and the blood sugar rises fast and drops low which leads tosleeping much deeper. This can cause someone to sleep so deeply they are not awakened by the urge to urinate. I stopped letting the kids have sweets for dessert and gave them protein instead. The bedwetting stooped immediately. That is always my first suggestion. If that doesn't work, then make sure there are no medical problems. I believe there are a lot of people that wet the bed.
My strongest concern is that NO ONE deserves to be punished or humiliated about it!! That is soooo cruel and emotionally harmful. It also makes the problem worse.
Just encourage your lol sis that it will get better and it's okay. Take care.

Yes it is normal for kids to wet the bed/themselfs even way past the teen years. It could be stress, fear, anxiety, even the worst of them all sexual abuse. Check into it and DON'T make her feel bad when she has those "accidents" comfort her and DON'T tease or get mad at her for something she has no control over.
