Im in year 13 and enjoy going out, meaning I want to look good. Even though I am already good looking (and have muscles) I like to look good for myself. My girlfriend doesn't mind it but I hear that people think I'm a douchebag because of it. What's your take? By the way, did I mention I have a girlfriend? ;)

If you don't think you look good without makeup, then that is a big problem, right there.
Perhaps you might want to continue your transformation and just hope your girlfriend won't leave you.

It's to make you're self look better and hide blemishes. as long as you don't look like a drag queen, no one will say anything(don't wear blue eye liner and red/purple/green/blue lipstick)
People will think you're strange, but if you like it and are willing to have people falsely assume things about you, go for it. You have the right to express yourself and be happy.
Up to you. People will form opinions about you that you may not like but it's your choice to do it. I'm sure you probably look better with make up if you do it correctly, like everyone else.
It's not really that weird to be honest. Men used to wear make up not too long ago, either.
