I know someone who insists on wearing flip-flops all the time, even in very cold weather. She's even gotten frostbite on her toe once, but yet she continues. Is that normal?
not really normal that she doesn't consider frost bite a big deal. I know people who wear flip flops up until it snows but not usually during. I also know people who wear boots while outside but carry flip flops and sandals around and then wear them inside ei at the mall...that's all a bit complicated though.
i wear flip flops in winter, but with socks. not the flip flops that go between your toes.
Hi, I am one of those people that wear flip flops in the cold and hot weather. If it's snowing, I refuse. But the reason why I do it, is because I use to live at the beach and I am accustomed to it, I now live in the mountains but it is probably going to be a life-long habit for me. LOL. But it's normal, if she wears them in the freezing cold while it's snowing; She could just be lazy.. LIKE ME! LOL
Its normal. I do that too. But its cuz I really don't care how people see me and it's just easier to slip those on rather than sitting there and putting on socks and shoes. Sometimes I will walk out in the snow with nothing on my feet if it's something quick like taking out the trash or getting the mail. I don't want to waste time putting on shoes to do something that only takes a few minutes.
Please tell me she doesn't try to wear them with socks! lol
Oh, and maybe she should look around and see the SNOW on the ground... not flip-flop weather!!
I love the cold and wore flip-flops well into the winter season, but as soon as it started snowing there was no way I could continue. Maybe she's just too lazy to put on shoes like me... or maybe she's too poor. o_o
