I personally would wear them, but wanted to start a new thread/post. Would you wear clothes that have been handed down to you by other people??
As long as they're in good shape, why not? I would as long as they fit me properly.
Pretty normal. I've had family and older friends who gave me clothing they outgrew before. Saves you cash, AND you look fabulous! What more can you ask for?
I hope so, otherwise there are far too many materialistic and wasteful people in this world.
Almost all my clothes belonged to someone else before they were mine. It's totally normal
There's nothing wrong with that. It's especially nice if you don't want to waste your money on clothing or don't have the money to spend. I keep getting new clothes that I keep outgrowing so, I give them to my mother to wear. This way, nothing is being wasted. :)
If I liked them and they fit...no holes....sure I would wear them
Last month i went into goodwill looking for clothing for Mad hatter costume (for bf) and i found an adorable black dress ....nice quality brand... 3$ ...hellz yeah
What's the big deal? Clothes are not really THAT important, in the scheme of things as long as they are clean and go together somewhat.
It wouldn't bother me the least little bit to find out a woman I was dating was wearing hand-me-downs.
Yup, especially purses. My mom's friends daughters like to buy name brand burses and serious ones like Gucci and all that crap. Same with the clothing, and the only reason they don't sell it is because apparently its old news in the fashion world. And that's a goddamned waste. I love free clothes and purses. I never have to buy a purse anymore. Before my current purse even gets worn out, I get to pick out a new one and have it in my closet.
My first and most priority is that whatever I wear should be comfortable and make me look stylish.
