Is it normal to wear an external catheter just for the convenience?

It can come in handy if you are about to go on a long road trip. It beats peeing in an empty 20 oz soda bottle and getting some all over the place. I hate holding it in to the point you feel your teeth floating.

Would this be a weird thing to do?

      I was so depressed I went in for a penis scope for a UTI,, it felt so good I ordered some Foley catheter's life is now great, I look so forward to my weekends wearing my catheter feels so good.... I sleep all night never get up to go to the bath-room wake up so rested....

      Haven't you ever needed to pee so bad you can feel it up to your head? I got that phrase "I need to piss so bad my teeth are floating" from Dead Heat (an 80s movie) if I remember right.

    best way is to insert a Foley catheter and wear a leg bag feels great and you have about 2 hours before you need to empty bag..

    well you can do as u like, but i sleep all night with my Foley catheter installed never getting up to PEEE,,, wake feeling great very restful love it makes for a great day...
