ok so i like watching the Avatar: The last Airbender...
And when i first started watching it when it came out in 2008 i loved it but then my family and friends bullied me about it so i stopped but i still like it and i have recently started again and my only response now when they ask why I'm watching a kids TV show is
"I like what I like, get off my back"

I know that its a childs show but the whole background and story is so interesting to me, i love the whole element bending thing they have going on too...

is this normal?

    Your family and friends rude; you are entitled to watch whatever you want. I used to watch that show and I loved it. I'm 18 and I still watch cartoons, not because they're for little kids, but because I like them.

    I love that show! Also the new one! (Bolin's so CUTE, but I ship Borra: Bolin and Korra) (In the original, I did Sokka and Toph; I always liked how Toph thanked Suki when she saved her from drowning, but she thought that Suki was Sokka and kissed her on the cheek. Later, she said that she wanted to be drowned after Suki revealed herself due to Toph's blindness) My cousin was the one who introduced me to the show. He came over and we were looking through the channels and pointed it out.

    When I read this, I was hugging my Pabu plushie and I said to him, "That doesn't sound fair, does it! People like what they like! (I'm a big fan of children's shows, too) ...I LOVE YOU, PABU!"

    I might be a female version of Bolin for next Halloween. My sister's going to be Mako.

    Totally normal! I watched the legend of korra these times :D the thematic is just amazing :) I could watch that in my 80'ies and i would still give a fuck

    i love watching spongebob (and i get the hidden jokes) but i also watch stuff like dirty Sanchez, jackass and nitro circus just because they entertain me.

    no worries your friends and family are just being mean. There are many people that I know (and im around the same age as you) who watch kid shows. Be proud you watch good shows instead of crap reality shows like some other people....
